Express Entry programs target those who have the ability and the skills to contribute to the Canadian economy. There are three programs under the Express Entry:

    • Federal Skilled Worker Program: In order to qualify for Express Entry, you need to meet the minimum requirements to the Federal Skilled Worker program. This program is based on point system. Applicants will be awarded points to their education, work experience, language proficiency in English or French, age, arranged employment, and adaptability factors, such as previous study or work in Canada, job offer, or having a relative in Canada who is Canadian or permanent resident. In addition to meeting the points cut off and eligibility criteria, the applicant must either have sufficient funds or have a valid job offer and currently be able to work in Canada. For more information on the Federal Skilled Worker Program, please contact us.
    • Federal Skilled Trade Program: Unlike the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Skilled Worker program is not based on a point system. However, applicants must meet the minimum requirements for language, work experience, and job descriptions. In addition, candidates must have a valid job offer or a certificate of qualification in the skilled trade issued by a Canadian authority. For more information on the Federal Skilled Trade Program, please contact us.
    • Canadian Experience Class: Applicants who obtained skilled work experience in Canada for at least 1 year within the past three years before they apply, meet the language requirements, and want to reside in a province other than Quebec may qualify for permanent residence under the Canadian Experience Class. There is no education requirement for this class, however, having an education improves the candidate rank in the Express Entry Pool. For more information on the Canadian Experience Class, please contact us.

Permanent Residence – Provincial Nominee Program

Each province and territory in Canada has its own provincial nominee program based on its economic needs. Provinces and territories are allowed to select foreign nationals who are capable to contribute to local labour market needs and fill a skills shortage. There are two ways to apply for this program depending on the stream that the applicant chooses to apply for, either a paper-based application or through Express Entry. For more information on the Provincial Nominee Program, please contact us.
